Just a thought that maybe they (the JWs) were showing their love by not interfering with your plans. I would think that they could have tried to make you give her a JW ceremony.

What is God's true organization he is using? if this not it, then point me

we in last few weeks have found some very disturbing things in our search such as the un involvement.
after research on these things and use of the wt library the society speaks for it's self on these issues calling the un the "disgusting thing" that the book of daniel spoke about(wt 85' para.

hellfire, isn't that a jw buzzword? They are the only I know who use it on an almost daily basis
When I was a kid, there were still a few ministers that would deliver very power messages about sin and its effect on our salvation and when the pastor gave one of these it was said that he preached "hellfire and brim stone". Today we are still instructed about sin and its effect, but the message is really subdued.

Deuteronomy 32:4 NIV "He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he."
Defd you agreed earlier that perfect means without sin. IMO this verse when read with the text around it is saying that what God does he does without sin. Otherwise you would have to say that all of Adams ways were just. I do not beleive that you can use this verse to support that Adam was made perfect only that God did not sin in making Adam.

Can you show me in the Bible where Adam is perfect? I can find where he is good, but I can not find where he is perfect.

John 2:19, 20 and Naos
by IsaacHorwitz inthe best way for me to ask my question is to start out with a skit:.
jw: i agree that jesus is speaking of his body in john 2:19 when he calls it a temple (naos).
however, when the jews say that the temple was 46 years in the building, they use the word naos and are not refering to jesus body.

The "Trinity" doctrine blasphemes Jehovah and Jesus.
by booker-t inthis is the last time i will post or read about the "trinity" doctrine because in my mind jehovah and jesus has enlightened me to see the real source of the so-called holy trinity.
satan is the originator of this unbiblical doctrine.
after i left jw's i felt i had to accept the trinity doctrine in order to be "saved".

Edition 1985 changed godship to divinity.
Wouldn't godship be the same as godhead?
And where did the WTBTS get the word quality from?

I have to admit that I like the Christmas decorations. Think about the reaction in Brooklyn if one night when they turn on the lights all these Christmas decorations would light up. Especially if they could not turn them off again.
